About Graphite

Graphite is creating a bridge from traditional finance to the web3 ecosystem.

We believe that well-designed security, smart technical features and openness to cooperation is what crypto needs right now.

Key difference

Layer-1 KYC Tiers & filters

GRAPHITE’s built-in KYC system has fully customizable KYC tiers that can help users and projects to comply with laws in any jurisdiction, thus effectively merging the traditional and digital economies. GRAPHITE is not fighting against anonymity, we are fighting for financial freedom so KYC is optional.

At the same time, the network provides companies and other entities with an opportunity to set fully legal interactions with any Web3 products.

Private user data is never published and is kept off-chain.

KYC Verification is needed for general legalization and scam prevention. Every sustainable financial system needs some form of KYC to keep the network and its users safe and secure.

Transport Nodes income

Every Entry-Point Node can earn rewards in the GRAPHITE network. Entry-Point Node can be deployed with just a few clicks, providing users access to the GRAPHITE blockchain.

By running a node you will be contributing to the crypto space and earn 50% of fees from all transactions going through your node. The remaining 50% serves as a reward for the block sealer.

Transport node owners don’t earn anything in other blockchains.

Proof-of-authority

Graphite is a high-speed Proof-of-Authority blockchain platform. Our tech and consensus mechanism are created based on our big goals: to eliminate scams, fix gas betting issues, and prevent unreasonable electricity and computational resource spending. And last but not least, we want to bring crypto as closer to mass adoption as we can.
Whitepaper

1

Top-10 Authorized Nodes are chosen for each epoch. These nodes have double down their chances of becoming a sealer node.

2

These top-tier nodes are selected based on the performance during the previous epoch. Performance is calculated as the average number of transactions that a node has processed.

3

Authorized nodes are added to the network through a multi-sig smart contract.

4

A fraudulent Authorized Node can be revoked of its status if more than 66% of Authorized Nodes vote for it.
